Rio Alessi

 

Rio began performing in a professional modern dance company while studying Acting at New York University, and continued to do so after graduating. She has recently retired her dancing shoes and returned to acting fulltime. Her favorite roles have been Anne Frank in Memoir Never Was (multiple theaters in New York and Philadelphia) and Lena, a 1920s femme fatale in the The Great Bravura.
Rio has performed in the work of several NY-based martial arts choreographers and has worked as a fight choreographer Off-Broadway.
